Do you know who fixes the computers at our school? Our school’s Technology Support Specialist is Mr. Rob Everett, and we are honored that he is a contributing staff member to our school. Everett’s job duties are to help students with their laptops with software issues, and he also does help desk support. Everett’s favorite job is reimaging the laptops and getting them to people who need them.
Everett’s advice to young people today is to get a good education and work for a career that they’ll enjoy. He said there is nothing students can do to make his job easier except to not break the laptops! You should treat the laptops he works on well. Last year, the first year that students were issued their laptops, went well for the most part.
Mr. Everett is a wonderful person, with a great sense of humor and an amazing outlook on young people today. Everett says he doesn’t feel too stressed at his job, and taking his dog for walks helps relax him. Even though Everett does not have a specific hobby, he does like to read. Everett’s favorite book genres are mystery, action, and adventure. He is a positive person and everyone should try to get to know him.
