From Black and White to Color

With years of development in technology, many people have finally unlocked new methods of coloring old black and white photographs. From Civil War pictures to WW2, black and white photos have been colorized and developed by experts, and the results are more than impressive. The process, however, is long and strenuous. First off, you must get historical facts researched, like what was the color of the Fanta logo in the 1940s? How light or dark is the skin tone of one person? And how much change do shadows affect a certain spot on the picture?

Photoshop is what photo colorizers use to get the job done, with its Advanced tool settings and latest features, Photoshop has become the most popularly used tool to achieve this feat. In Photoshop, there’s one specific tool that is used, the color replacement tool. Basically, it replaces the color of one area with another color, which can make it look more realistic. Just coloring the pictures isn't the only job that photo colorizers do,they also get rid of wear and tear using a variety of tools, such as the lasso tool, and the clone stamp tool. With Photoshop, practically anyone can color old black and white photos, and you can too!
