This past month, Netflix released a new Halloween movie titled, “Hubie Halloween,” where the Halloween theme goes straight out the window! Adam Sandler plays the main role of Hubie Debois, an adult who lives with his mother and is the joke of the town. He experiences a new type of danger during Halloween! Hubie goes on a wild adventure, but throughout his journey he grows into a hero! Multiple Disney stars that the kids from the 2010s grew up with made star appearances in the film.
Some critics, on the other hand, have been down on the movie for professional reasons. Besides what the critics say, If you want a fun Halloween movie that isn't too scary, and is hilariously confusing to watch, this is a movie for you! I think that the movie has great potential to be a traditional holiday movie. The movie exceeded my expectations in the funny factor and didn’t find anything wrong with the movie. I think it was a great movie and really brings out the hilariousness of Adam Sandler. This was one of my favorite comedy movies of the past few years, and I suggest that people check it out for some good laughs! Hubie Halloween is available on Netflix now.
