By: Emdad Swapan, News Editor The Stinger had the great honor to sit down with Virginia State Senator Jennifer Boysko (D-33rd District). Boysko was at HHS on Thursday, May 12th as Government students participated in a forum to discuss the future of the town of Herndon and the state of Virginia. Boysko was joined by Delegate Irene Shin, Mayor Sheila Olem, Supervisor John Foust, and School Board Rep. Elaine Tholen. Students got a chance to to talk about issues they are most passionate about with their locally elected officials.
From the economic challenges Virginians face to legislative affairs, no topic was off limits in our interview with Senator Boysko.
